Essential Window Tinting Keeping Florida Homes Cooler

Our consultants have been meeting with over heated home owners throughout the Tampa Bay, Orlando and Bradenton-Sarasota area.

Their homes are too bright, far too hot and their valuable furnishings are fading.

The glare is driving them crazy and when they open their electric bill you can actually hear an audible gasp!

Most of our homes have single pane clear glass windows and sliders.  These windows are terrible insulators.

Blinds, shutters, screens and curtains provide privacy and reduce glare but that heat is unabated and thanks to that UV; your window accessories have a very limited life expectancy.

Cave Dwellers: Yes we have films that block more than 95% of the light.  These films are similar in appearance to one way vision glass. 

Typically they are highly reflective from the exterior perspective but they work better at blocking heat than any other solution.

Life in the shade:  These films range from letting in 14% of the light to approximately 30% of the visible light.   Advanced Film offers several reflective, dual reflective (one side is less reflective than the exterior side) and non-reflective ceramic films.

Can’t believe there’s a film: These are lighter typically non reflective films that block 50% or more of the heat but are virtually undetectable. These coatings factor out IR heat so they are very effective but will not alter the appearance of your windows.

Shatter-Glazing protection: Many of our films are available in thicker (8ML) versions. You’ll get the same solar benefits as their thinner versions but you’ll enjoy the improved protection against forced entry  or accidental glass breakage (golf ball, etc.)
