The window film industry has been restricted from the mere mention of its potential use for wind storm mitigation.

Given the industry small footprint and the lack of appetite to argue the merits of properly fastened shatter films; we have removed all mention of storms from any advertising.

(Frankly we had done so as far back as 2009-10)

Interestingly commercial buildings (second story and above) typically require that a storm mitigation device meet the ASTM 1886 or ASTM 1996 cycling and small and medium missile impact that our 8 ML films meet.

This includes the stringent Factory Mutual testing approvals that can lower a commercial businesses insurance premiums.

We take no issue with the states concerns about misleading advertising or their implication that somehow the mere mention of these films is taking advantage of the elderly.
